HISTORICAL ASPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF THE PRC

Abstract

The development of different cities takes place on a certain historical basis, which is a plat
form for choosing ways, means and ways of updating different regions, therefore the actual task is to
review the historical prerequisites for the development of cities in China. The article states that the main
trend of the PRC is the growth of urbanization, by the year 2020 it is expected that 60% of the popula
tion will live in cities. This creates the need to upgrade the urban housing stock, quantitative and quali
tative growth. Six periods of development of cities of the People's Republic of China were determined,
existing models of urban areas reconstruction were analyzed, their advantages and disadvantages were
determined. The state regulation of the economy in the PRC is focused on the transition to market forms
of management while maintaining centralized planned economic management, it optimizes the process
of efficiency management, helps to take advantage of the market mechanism of development, reducing
economic risks through state measures.
