INCREASE OF THE CONSUMABLE PROPERTIES OF GYPSUM DRY BUILDING MIXTURES FOR THE ARRANGEMENT OF FILLED FLOORS DUE TO THE ADDITION OF BASALT FIBER

Abstract

The article is devoted to increasing the consumptive properties of gypsum bulk floors by adding basalt fiber to their composition. The quality indicators of poured floors were considered in accordance with the current regulatory documents (DSTU B V.2.7-126:2011 and DSTU EN 13813), namely creep, shelf life, strength of adhesion to the base, compressive strength limit, tensile strength limit during bending, shrinkage, frost resistance. The properties and advantages of three samples of gypsum bulk floors presented on the market of Ukraine ("Budmeister D-319", "Polymin TP-5", "Baumit Nivello Quattro") have been determined. A comparative analysis of the physico-mechanical properties of the indicated mixtures was carried out according to the indicators of compressive and tensile strength when bending, spreading, hardening time and wearability using a Wick device, a Suttard viscometer, a press and a device for determining wearability with a dry abrasive on a wear wheel. In order to increase the consumption properties of gypsum bulk floors, it is proposed to introduce basalt fiber into their composition as a reinforcing component in the amount of 0.5% and 1% of the mass of the mixture, and corresponding laboratory tests were conducted. According to the results of the experiments, it was determined that the addition of basalt fiber makes it possible to slightly increase the compressive strength of gypsum bulk floors and significantly increase their tensile strength during bending; at the same time, the more basalt fiber added to the composition of the mixture, the higher the strength indicators. It was established that the modification of mixtures with basalt fiber significantly improves their resistance to abrasion when adding at least 1% basalt fiber. It was concluded that the addition of basalt fiber is an effective way to improve the strength of gypsum bulk floors, especially if the optimal concentration of fiber is chosen for each type of mixture. At the same time, it is advisable to carry out further research on the impact of the proposed modifications on the durability of plastered floors, their economic indicators, thermal conductivity, etc
