ANALYSIS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATED SYSTEMS OF DIAGNOSTICS AND MONITORING OF TECHNICAL CONDITION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES

Abstract

Deformations of buildings during their life cycle are quite common, especially in urban
development, where there is not only the impact of dense construction, but also the vulnerability of buil
dings to damage and the duration of their operation. This creates new challenges related to the provisi
on of safe living in a metropolis, which is determined by the reliability of construction sites, and the
impact of new construction on existing infrastructure. The article presents recommendations and pros
pects for the implementation of automated systems for monitoring and diagnosing the condition of buil
ding structures in real time. Progressive directions of increase of efficiency and accuracy of measure
ment, reliability of automated monitoring systems with simultaneous reduction of its cost are conside
red. The relevance of the introduction of automated monitoring of deformation of buildings at the
construction stage and during the service life of the building is analyzed. For control and early diagnos
tics of the technical condition of the foundations and building structures of a unique building or struc
ture, automated stationary systems for monitoring the technical condition are proposed, which should
provide automated detection of stressstrain change of structures with localization of their dangerous
areas, determining the roll level of the building or structures, and in case of need and other parameters.
