THE USE OF MONOLITHIC FOAM CONCRETE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ENERGY EFFICIENT BUILDINGS

Abstract

The experience of use of foam concrete for construction of the walls of lowrise buildings
is analyzed. Low cost, environmental security, rather high mechanical and thermal performance and low
sensitivity to the conditions of forming and hardening allows to prepare a concrete mix in the conditi
ons of the construction site and use it as monolithic bearing and enclosing structures. The high quality
of the finished structure is ensured by the use of GeoPanel plastic formwork, which is successfully used
by LLC BUDSPECTR. The following examples of the construction of monolithic walls confirms the
expediency of use of foam concrete for the construction and insulation of buildings of different types.
