Abstract

Despite the high potentialities of BIM technology (increased productivity, improved quality
of documented information, support for a unified and consistent work style), not all participants using
information modeling techniques achieve the expected results. There are various reasons for possible
failures, but apparently the main reason is an inadequate understanding of the essence of integrating
information systems and the use of BIM tools.
